A repair coupling is used to repair damaged pipe by replacing the damaged section. Can be used to repair damage in 22mm copper or plastic pipe without the need for any hot work.
Compression fittings should be moderately tightened using grips or a spanner and once the system is pressurised, if leaks are noticed the compression fittings should be tightened until the leak is eliminated. If a compression fitting is re-used the olives should be replaced, an olive removal tool may help in this.
